Wednesday night was Senior Night for the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team, and it was one to celebrate. The Cats walked out of Rupp Arena with a 93 – 77 victory and the Seniors got to have a happy final home game.
Antonio Reeves played well in his final home game, going 8-for-17 from the field for 20 points. He also had 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Tre Mitchell had 2 points and 1 board as he tries to come back from an injury that forced him to miss several games.
The star of the game was Rob Dillingham, who got hot and made a number of tough shots both inside and outside. He totaled 23 points and 5 assists on the night.
Kentucky has now won six of their last seven games, and four in a row. They’ll play the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, and then they’ll play the SEC Tournament the following week. The NCAA Tournament will be right after that.
