Benny the Bull suggests clever tweak to Chicago’s court design

Chicago’s beloved Benny the Bull offers a cute idea for a new court design.

Chicago’s beloved mascot “Benny the Bull” took to Twitter to offer a re-designed home court with a charmingly self-serving twist. This comes shortly after the NFL’s Cleveland Browns announced their own cartoon mascot would be painted at midfield at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Benjamin T. “Benny” Bull has been the mascot for the Chicago Bulls since 1969. He’s known as one of the most popular mascots in North American sports, The current and most recognizable version of Benny is actually one of a surprisingly diverse cast of family members and previous iterations.

Clubs across the NBA have been experimenting with different court designs for years now. Perhaps Chicago should indeed adopt a more taurine mid-court emblem.
