The Cincinnati Bengals went after multiple undrafted free agent wide receivers as soon as the 2022 NFL draft ended.
One of those was Coastal Carolina WR Jaivon Heiligh. The other? Kansas WR Kwamie Lassiter II, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
Like Heiligh, it will be hard for fans to not get excited about Lassiter. He’s 5’11” and 185 pounds and last season caught 59 passes for 653 yards and three scores.
Lassiter isn’t going to blow anyone away with his athletic testing or the sheer eye test, but he’s dependable in an offense and has lots of experience on punt returns. If he can show well there, and perhaps on kick returns in training camp, he could snag the WR5 spot.
