There aren’t many players in the NFL on the same level as Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.
Just don’t tell Trent Taylor.
Taylor, who joined the team a year ago after working at a minicamp (and notably wearing a certain No. 18), spent this season mostly working on special teams as a returner.
But he took the chance to capitalize on a tweet from Fox College Football and put a funny spin on it because it happened to show his yardage total from his time in college at LA Tech just edging out Chase’s yardage tally at LSU from a few seasons back:
Some people think Ja’Marr is a better WR than me.. but numbers don’t lie https://t.co/cuAB90fjHP

Granted, some in the replies are taking this whole thing…a little too seriously. But it’s a funny moment in June before the team really gets to work and Taylor’s value on special teams shouldn’t get lost in the conversation.
