The Cincinnati Bengals will bring out a new jersey combo for the 2021 season over the weekend with the Pittsburgh Steelers in town.
Friday, the team announced they will wear orange jerseys and black pants on Sunday, making it both the first time they’ve used that combo in 2021 and the first time they’ve used the combo since the jersey redesign.
It’s a critical game for the Bengals with the AFC North wide open, though those Steelers are getting back to full strength on the injury report. The two are bitter rivals, too, with Tyler Boyd’s quitting comments hanging over the rematch.
The Atletic’s Jay Morrison shared the team’s record when donning orange jerseys — and the record is surprisingly great:
Correction. 11-3-1
