The Cincinnati Bengals once again have some heavyweights in the fantasy football realm.
May means it’s time for early fantasy football prep, of course, with Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins standing at the forefront of this area for the Bengals.
For example, ESPN’s Field Yates just dropped his points per reception (PPR) league rankings, where four Bengals make the top 100 list:
8. Ja’Marr Chase, Cin (WR5)
25. Joe Mixon, Cin (RB12)
37. Tee Higgins, Cin (WR17)
46. Joe Burrow, Cin (QB5)
There’s nothing too surprising there. Even Joe Mixon’s rank can simply be explained by how important running backs are in the fantasy football landscape compared to real life.
And in the case of Mixon in PPR leagues specifically, the fact he caught a career-high 60 passes last year has to come into play when formulating rankings like this.
Maybe most interesting is Burrow coming in as the fifth quarterback, but it’s nitpicking at this stage of the offseason.
