Bengals stall in power rankings as season nears end

An update on the Bengals in the power rankings.

The Cincinnati Bengals will finish the season around the 20th spot in the power rankings.

So says a new set of rankings from USA Today’s Nate Davis:

21. Cincinnati Bengals (20): Whether or not he wants to admit it after a 41-yard day, WR Ja’Marr Chase should probably concede K.C.’s corners are pretty tight.

This isn’t the final power rankings of the season, but the Week 18 game against a Cleveland Browns team likely fielding backups probably won’t move the needle all that much in the rankings.

It’s a fitting spot for a Bengals team that peaked well within the top 10 when Joe Burrow was healthy. A hobbled team going to Kansas City to still put a up serious fight against the Chiefs seems deserving of a spot in this area, all things considered.
