While far from pretty, the Cincinnati Bengals scrapped and clawed out a victory on the road against the Denver Broncos over the weekend.
As the snap counts showcase, it was a gritty showing for some key depth names.
Fred Johnson, for example, inhaled 100 percent of the snaps at right tackle with Riley Reiff out and looked good. Rookie guard Jackson Carman had to come in on 62 percent of the snaps once Hakeem Adeniji left with an injury.
On defense, Germaine Pratt got 100 percent of the looks with Logan Wilson out again. Also at 100 percent was cornerback Eli Apple (who had some funny trash talk for Broncos players after the game) with Chidobe Awuzie out. Trae Waynes, in his big return from injury, played 92 percent.
