When the 2023 NFL schedule was released, the list of preseason opponents for the Cincinnati Bengals was well known.
What wasn’t was the when and how of those games.
The Bengals ended that mystery on Wednesday, outlining the information for the three preseason exhibitions:
- Week 1: vs. Packers, Aug 11, 7 p.m. ET
- Week 2: at Falcons, Aug 18, 7:30 p.m. ET
- Week 3: at Commanders, Aug 26, 1 p.m. ET
As always, Week 3 might be the only time starters take the field, though how much will remain a mystery in its own right until kickoff. The Bengals could opt to let the starting offensive line play a half with or without Joe Burrow after last year’s early-season struggles, but it’s hard to say now.
