Former LSU quarterback [autotag]Joe Burrow[/autotag] is expected to have a huge season for the Cincinnati Bengals, but with the beginning of the campaign approaching, he’s dealing with a calf injury.
He had to be carted off the field earlier in camp after suffering a non-contact calf strain, and following the injury, head coach Zac Taylor said Burrow would be out for “several weeks.”
Taylor addressed Burrow’s status once again on Wednesday, though he remained ambiguous and didn’t offer much additional information.
“The timeline is several weeks from when I said several weeks,” Taylor said, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Burrow was voted by his peers as the No. 6 player in the league in the NFL Top 100 this offseason, and he’ll look to lead the Bengals to yet another playoff run.
