Here’s where the Cincinnati Bengals stand in the updated 2021 NFL draft order.

The Cincinnati Bengals remain on pace to select one of the 2021 NFL draft’s top offensive tackle prospects coming out of their Week 12 loss to the New York Giants.

That means Oregon’s Penei Sewell, one of the best tackles to enter the draft in years.

The loss dropped the Bengals to 2-8-1, which keeps them picking third in the order. They sit behind the New York Jets (0-11) and Jacksonville Jaguars (1-10) as the calendar turns to Week 13.

While the Bengals might not climb higher in the order, they could be in danger of losing their hold on the third pick. Dallas sits fourth at 3-8 and the Bengals happen to host the Cowboys in Week 14 — making a game against Andy Dalton far more interesting than it has any right to be.

But to Cincinnati’s credit, it’s hard to imagine Zac Taylor’s team can win another game this season if they don’t improve upon Sunday’s performance, where they mustered just 155 total yards of offense.

Understandably, our latest seven-round mock draft had the Bengals landing Sewell at No. 3.
