A year removed from having one of the most athletic draft classes, the Cincinnati Bengals did the same thing again while sticking true to their board in every round of the 2023 draft.
Once again, the Bengals selected a ton of top-ranked prospects in Kent Lee Platte’s “Relative Athletic Score.”. It has become a premier way of judging the datasets involved in a prospect’s athletic testing, combined with their measurables.
Starting right at the top with a stunning score from first-rounder Myles Murphy and going right on down to the sixth round where the Bengals found one of the most athletic wide receivers to enter the draft based on RAS score, this was another super-athletic class.
