Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow met with the media for the first time since his injury on Wednesday ahead of the team facing the Cleveland Browns in Week 1 and made it clear he’s suiting up for that game.
And no, Burrow didn’t have an update to offer when it comes to his looming potential contract extension, instead opting to focus on the Browns.
Burrow said he was “ready to go” for Week 1 after admitting the last few weeks were boring. He said that on the day of the calf injury, he had worn the sleeve because things were feeling a little tight.
The meeting came on the heels of Burrow being a full-go in practice despite head coach Zac Taylor still classifying him as “day-to-day,” the same classification for Joseph Ossai.
