Bengals OL Alex Cappa carted to locker room after injury

The Bengals lose another starting OL.

The Cincinnati Bengals lost starting right guard Alex Cappa to injury during Sunday’s season finale against the Baltimore Ravens.

Cappa went down in the third quarter and needed the help of trainers to leave the field. A player rolled up on his left leg in a bad-looking injury mid-play.

From there, Cappa went to the blue medical tent, then needed a cart to leave the field for the locker room.

It’s reminiscent of the sequence of events that happened to right tackle La’el Collins two weeks ago. He’s lost for the season as a result.

With Cappa off the field, Max Scharping will take over as the starting right guard. If he has to miss extended time, it means the Bengals will be down two of the four massive upgrades to the line for the playoffs.
