Bengals make roster moves official, cut roster to 53 players

The Bengals have made the following cuts official.

Up until now, nothing was official when it came to reports of roster cuts by the Cincinnati Bengals as they formulated a final 53-man roster.

But the team made the reported moves official before Tuesday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline, noting that the following players were released:

One of the bigger surprises was the release of defensive end Raymond Johnson III after a breakout summer. He and a handful of others are players the team projects to attempt to get back via the practice squad.
