The Cincinnati Bengals made some minor housekeeping moves before their “Sunday Night Football” playoff showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.
Saturday, the team announced it elevated defensive end Raymond Johnson III and linebacker Keandre Jones from the practice squad.
As standard elevations, they will revert back to the practice squad on the Monday after the game.
A little extra defensive help before taking on a Ravens team that figures to run the ball early and often while starting a backup quarterback under center isn’t too shocking and not indicative of issues for other players at the positions elevated.
Sunday night’s game is a primetime affair with a late kickoff.
We have elevated DE Raymond Johnson III and LB Keandre Jones from the practice squad to the active roster for tomorrow night's Wild Card Playoff against Baltimore.
