The Cincinnati Bengals have a depth problem at linebacker ahead of Week 3 against the New York Jets and have made a roster move to compensate.
Saturday, the team announced that it elevated linebacker Keandre Jones from the practice squad to the active roster.
The move comes in response to starter Germaine Pratt being listed as doubtful on the final injury report before the game.
Pratt played 70 percent of the snaps a week ago during the loss to Dallas and is the main guy in the middle for most packages. Jones will get the nod in that role alongside the likes of Markus Bailey and Clay Johnston.
Per league rules, Jones will revert to the practice squad on the Monday after the game.
