Bengals make a move at QB before final cuts

The Bengals have made it clear what the plan is at QB behind Joe Burrow.

The Cincinnati Bengals have made a decision at the quarterback position.

Veteran quaterback Trevor Siemian told The Athletic’s Jay Morrison that he has been released by the team.

The move positions Jake Browning as the primary backup behind Joe Burrow, though Siemian is someone the team could look to bring back on the practice squad at a later date.

Cincinnati brought on Siemian as a veteran backup this offseason after losing Brandon Allen to the San Francisco 49ers in free agency. What the 49ers do with Allen could have a slight chance of impacting how the Bengals proceed behind Burrow, too.
