For what feels like the first time this season, the Cincinnati Bengals have a really tough outlook on a final injury report.
Cincinnati’s final report for this weekend’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers lists four players out doubtful:
- RB Chris Evans (ankle)
- DE Khalid Kareem (illness)
- WR Auden Tate (calf)
- WR Mike Thomas (illness)
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor confirmed that two starting offensive linemen will be game-time decisions after receiving “questionable” tags:
- C Trey Hopkins
- RT Riley Reiff
Last week against the Steelers, Isaiah Prince took the reps in place of Reiff and rookie Trey Hill worked center for Hopkins after both starters suffered ankle injuries.
While wideout depth isn’t a major concern, the Bengals will likely call up a running back like Pooka Williams on the chance a backup needs to take reps behind Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine.
