It would classify as an understatement to say Sunday is a big day for the AFC North.

Week 1’s slate of games features the debut of No. 1 pick Joe Burrow as they take on the Los Angeles Chargers.

Elsewhere, Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns visit Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. And on Monday night, the Pittsburgh Steelers visit the New York Giants in the first of two Monday Night Football games, which features the long-awaited return of Ben Roethlisberger under center.

It’s a big week all around for a division that figures to be plenty competitive and with nothing too predictable about it.

In fact, it’s so big that Burrow has helped the AFC North make some history, as pointed out by ESPN’s Jamison Hensley:

Call it a fun trivia item as Burrow attempts to usher in a new era of Bengals football in the AFC North by picking up a win over the Chargers.
