The Cincinnati Bengals won’t be down any major names besides Trae Waynes in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears.
As previously announced, Waynes is listed as out on the team’s final injury report alongside the following notables:
- CB Darius Phillips (Questionable)
- LB Markus Bailey (Questionable)
Ricardo Allen is listed as out, but technically already went to injured reserve. Joe Burrow and others listed as full participants earlier this week aren’t even listed.
The Phillips status is a big issue though. He’s the primary punt returner and the team is already shaky with corner depth after Eli Apple was a weak point of the unit last week while playing in Waynes’ place.
As for the Bears, the team will miss big-name presence Eddie Goldman, the stellar nose tackle responsible for standing as the heart of the entire unit:
