The Cincinnati Bengals are desperate for offensive line help ahead of their Week 8 game against the Tennessee Titans.
Cincinnati reinforced that idea by working out three offensive linemen this week, per the league’s transaction wire:
- OT O’Shea Dugas
- OT Brandon Hitner
- G Evan Adams
Dugas is the most recognizable name there because he’s spent time on the active roster with the Bengals in the past.
The tryouts are a direct response to the barrage of injuries suffered during the Week 7 loss to the Browns in which Jonah Williams, Trey Hopkins and Bobby Hart all went down.
Hart is confirmed out, but even if the others end up playing in Week 8, the Bengals need bodies for practice and depth. They’re also actively meeting with free agent Quinton Spain.
If the Bengals are going to make a move besides signing Spain, it’ll likely be adding one of the above names to the practice squad, at least.
