The University of Cincinnati is a hop and a skip from Paul Brown Stadium, so it makes sense for the Cincinnati Bengals to have representation at the Bearcats’ Pro Day, especially in a year where the school is loaded with draft prospects.
Sure enough, the Bengals were well-represented at Cincinnati’s Pro Day. Among those there included Zac Taylor, Duke Tobin, director of college scouting Mike Potts, director of strategy and engagement Elizabeth Blackburn, senior manager of digital strategy Caroline Blackburn, scout Christian Sarkisian, linebackers coach James Bettcher and safeties coach Rob Livingston.
Obviously the Bengals won’t be targeting QB Desmond Ridder, but there are plenty of other prospects from Cincinnati that could fit well with the Bengals.
CB Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner will be long gone by the time the Bengals are on the clock at No. 31. But Cincinnati’s other corner, Coby Bryant, could potentially be in play at some point in the draft. Also throughout the draft, they could have their eyes on LB Darrian Beavers, safety Bryan Cook and RB Jerome Ford.
Understandably large #Bengals contingent here at UC Pro day. Spotted so far, Duke Tobin, director college scouting Mike Potts, Caroline and Elizabeth Blackburn, scout Christian Sarkisian and safeties coach Rob Livingston.
