The Cincinnati Bengals did what many — at least locally — thought would never happen, announcing before the 2022 season that they have sold the naming rights to Paul Brown Stadium.
The Bengals struck a deal with local company Paycor to rename the site to Paycor Stadium, a 16-year deal that runs well past the team’s current lease with Hamilton County, which expires in 2026.
As one could expect, reactions ranged all over the place. Some loved that the team is doing whatever it takes to win, including adding more revenue via something once thought impossible. Others…not so much.
