Bengals’ Evan McPherson is one of Madden’s highest-rated kickers

Here’s one Cincinnati Bengals fans probably haven’t heard in a while — they have one of the highest-rated kickers in an upcoming Madden game.

That honor belongs to the electric Evan McPherson, who checks in with an 83 overall rating in the upcoming “Madden NFL 23” this summer. That puts him third amongst kickers overall.

McPherson, who hit 28 of his 33 attempts last year as a rookie, including nine of his 11 from deep and every attempt in the playoffs, sits just behind Harrison Butker and Justin Tucker in the rankings.

This big win for the Bengals and McPherson comes on the heels of Joe Mixon and Jessie Bates earning elite ratings, while Ja’Marr Chase’s left a little to be desired based on his historic debut.
