It seems the Joe Burrow comeback is taking another important step.
The big hint comes from the Cincinnati Bengals themselves on social media. A tweet by the team’s social crew showcased a short video of Burrow walking out to the Paul Brown Stadium field accompanied by trainers and clearly hinting at the trio heading for a throwing session.
Said video included a clever caption: “Reminder: April Fools’ Day is tomorrow, it’s not today.”
Burrow’s initial timeline suggested he would start throwing again in mid-February. He could’ve been throwing all this time, but this is the first hint we’ve got from anyone that it’s actually happening. Given how good the team is with social media lately, one would think we would’ve seen footage before this.
Either way, the Bengals just offered up a hint of Burrow’s comeback journey with more details soon to follow. As of now, there’s no reason to think he won’t be back by his target date of Week 1.
