While Joe Burrow gets all the hype, the franchise quarterback is but one notable Cincinnati Bengals star working his way back from a season-ending injury.

D.J. Reader is another prominent one and a guy we haven’t heard much about compared to the likes of Burrow, C.J. Uzomah and even Trey Hopkins.

Reader, who suffered a season-ending quad injury in Week 5 and had surgery in mid-October, just posted a video of himself running on social media.

It’s a little thing, yet a notable one from a guy the Bengals made the NFL’s highest-paid nosetackle last offseason as a big sign the team was open to throwing huge money around in free agency again.

Reader had previously posted a positive message about his comeback and from the looks of it, things are going nicely for a key part of Cincinnati’s plan for the future of the defense.
