Bengals coaches inching closer to Paul Brown Stadium return after new NFL mandate

Cincinnati Bengals coaches will be back at Paul Brown Stadium soon.

Business continues to inch closer toward normal proceedings again for the Cincinnati Bengals and NFL as a whole.

The NFL issued another memo to teams this week, revealing a return date for team personnel to facilities. Part of the memo, via ESPN’s Dan Graziano: “This will advise that, beginning tomorrow, June 5, coaching staffs may be among the employees returning to your facility.”

This comes on the heels of a different mandate from the NFL, which means Bengals training camp will stay in Cincinnati this year and players probably won’t be at team facilities again until then.

Call the news about coaches getting back to work a great development though, as Zac Taylor’s staff has been itching to get back at it.

“If they call us into work, I’ll be there. I’m kind of on-call here. As soon as they say come back to work, I’ll be there,” Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan said, according to Tyler Dragon of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Interestingly enough, Callahan had just revealed the all-virtual format so far has been a wild success for Joe Burrow, as they’re thrilled with his progress on pre-snap responsibilities.
