Joe Burrow and Thaddeus Moss will be reunited on the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bengals claimed the former Washington tight end Monday, making good on a suggestion we made last week once he was waived.
It’s an addition that makes way too much sense for a Bengals team in need at tight end. Even better, Moss was a friend of Joe Burrow’s and one of the quarterback’s favorite targets during their title run at LSU.
The Bengals had previously put in a call on Moss after the 2020 draft but he oped to go with Washington. One year later, he’s headed to Cincinnati.
This is a very low-risk move for the Bengals, as Moss has a ton of upside if he can get past the injury issues that caused him to fall out of the draft and miss all of his rookie season.
