The Cincinnati Bengals are massive favorites entering their Week 8 game against the New York Jets.

Go figure — those Jets are 1-5 and have one of the biggest injury lists fans will see all season.

But how big is the margin? Over at Tipico Sportsbook, the Bengals are 11.5-point favorites, the rare double-digit-favorite status for a Bengals team that usually gets discredited on these sorts of lines.

Oddsmakers didn’t really have a choice with this one. Cincinnati beat the tar out of the Baltimore Ravens on the road in Week 7, a 41-17 rout that featured 400-plus passing yards from Joe Burrow and 201 yards from Ja’Marr Chase.

The Jets are 1-5 with losses to so-so teams and one notable, weird win over Tennessee. Their last outing was a 54-13 beating at the hands of 3-4 New England. Quarerback Zach Wilson and others will miss Sunday’s game.

The Bengals will want to establish an early lead and cruise on the road, so actually rolling with them despite the big spread might not be the worst idea.
