Bengals announce 2024 practice squad after final cuts

The Bengals have revealed the 2024 practice squad list.

The Cincinnati Bengals revealed the current members of the 2024 practice squad on Wednesday after the waiver-wire rush.

There, some familiar names round out a big list of players, with veterans and breakouts alike making the 12-man list.

Here is the current list:

  • CB Nate Brooks
  • WR Cole Burgess
  • OT Devin Cochran
  • DT Domenique Davis
  • CB Jalen Davis
  • TE Cam Grandy
  • LB Shaka Heyward
  • C Trey Hill
  • WR Shedrick Jackson
  • S PJ Jules
  • WR Kendric Pryor
  • QB Logan Woodside

The Bengals can add four more players to this list, with the 12 above already spending training camp with the team this summer. The Bengals claimed one player on the waiver wire and released Trayveon Williams, so the veteran running back could end up on this list.

As always, some housekeeping: Teams can have up to six veterans on the practice squad without any limitations. Those players with less than four accrued seasons were exposed to the waiver wire after being cut and reverted to free agency if they passed through without being claimed. Veterans with four-plus years accrued were immediately free agents. Players on the practice squad can be placed on the gameday roster three times, with the fourth time requiring they be signed to the 53-man roster. Only two practice squad players may be eligible to play on game day.
