The Cincinnati Bengals visited with free-agent offensive tackle Riley Reiff and ultimately agreed to terms with him on a deal.
Jay Morrison of The Athletic reported the agreement.
Reiff was first revealed as visiting the Bengals on Wednesday night after free agency opened. He’s 32 and had another solid season in Minnesota last year, posting a 71.4 Pro Football Focus grade.
It’s a little unclear where the Bengals end up playing Reiff, as he was primarily a left tackle and the staff doesn’t sound like it wants to move Jonah Williams. Sliding down to guard or having a rookie draft pick play guard while he moves to the right side could work.
Either way, the Bengals just massively upgraded the offensive line and no addition on the market was going to eliminate offensive line as a possibility at fifth overall.
