After his season in Game 7 on Sunday, Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons admitted that he had a lot to work on in order to improve in this league. It does not come as a surprise after he struggled mightily on the offensive end in their Round 2 series with the Atlanta Hawks.
Apparently, he really meant that when he said it.
As the 2021 Olympics are fast approaching in Tokyo, Simmons is now doubtful to play for the Australian National Team in the Olympics. The reason for that is he wants to continue to work on his skills and prepare for the 2021-22 season.
Ben Simmons is doubtful to play for Australia in Tokyo Olympics, sources said. Will spend offseason working on skill development. Aussies scheduled to begin training this week in L.A.

Coach Doc Rivers is confident in Simmons’ work ethic and wanting him to become the player he expects to be. With this news of him possibly skipping the Olympics, it could be a good sign for both him and the team that he is ready to lock in on the offensive end of the floor.
