On Thursday, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger announced his retirement from the NFL. Roethlisberger has spent his entire 18-year career with the Steelers and is sure to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

Roethlisberger posted the video below including a heartfelt message to the organization and fanbase. Roethlisberger handed out many thank yous and called his time with the Steelers a blessing and made sure Steeler Nation knows you are the greatest fans.

With the announcement, the Steelers must now turn their attention to what comes next for Pittsburgh and the quarterback position. But for now, all of us at Steelers Wire want to thank Big Ben for 18 great seasons.
