While at Michigan football, Ben Mason didn’t exactly play a glamor position as the team’s fullback. But one thing is indisputable: he’s the most arduous worker when it comes to football.
Now the Baltimore Ravens know that to be true.
Mason will continue to play for a Harbaugh now that he’s in the NFL, having been selected by John Harbaugh and the Ravens in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL draft. And with rookie minicamps having started this week, Mason won’t be taking the field on Saturday.
And why not? Well, because he went so hard on Friday that he ‘tore the skin off the bottom of his feet.’
TE/FB Ben Mason didn't practice today because he worked so hard yesterday that he "tore the skin off the bottom of his feet."

Considering Mason’s penchant for going above and beyond and toughness, is this any surprise? The only surprise, honestly, is that Mason isn’t playing through it.
