It’s official. Bellator has rankings for the first time in the organization’s history.
On Monday, Bellator launched and made public the promotion’s official divisional rankings, along with men’s and women’s pound-for-pound lists. The rankings cover men’s heavyweight, light heavyweight, middleweight, welterweight, lightweight, featherweight and bantamweight. And on the women’s side, the rankings cover featherweight and flyweight.
Bellator rankings, which are created by a 17-member media panel that includes MMA Junkie’s John Morgan and Nolan King, as well as MMA Junkie Radio’s “Gorgeous” George Garcia, list divisional champions in each weight class at the top, followed by the top 10 contenders.
