One of the promotion’s rising bantamweight stars, Mix (13-0 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) has extended with Bellator by signing a new contract.

While the signing occurred earlier this year, Mix recently revealed the news for the first time via his personal Facebook page. MMA Junkie confirmed the signing with a promotion official on Monday.

“I resigned my second multi fight contract with one of the top mma promotion in the world at the beginning of the year,” Mix wrote on his personal Facebook account. “Even though this year 2020 has been hard the light at the end of the tunnel is that Bellator will be home to myself and family for many years to come. After this pandemic I’m excited to get back to work and chasing these dreams!”

Since signing with Bellator in early 2019, Mix has made quick work of three straight opponents. In his promotional debut at Bellator 222, Mix submitted highly-touted Ricky Bandejas in 66 seconds.

In his sophomore Bellator fight, Mix pulled off a rare Sulov stretch submission against Isaiah Chapman – another first round finish.

In December, Bellator lended Mix to RIZIN. Taking on Yuki Motoya at RIZIN 20, Mix picked up his thirteenth win in as many fights when he submitted Yuki Motoya in 97 seconds.
