Bellator Europe chief David Green talks Bellator Europe 6 storylines, 2020 plans

Bellator Europe 6 concludes a record eight stops overseas for Bellator in 2019, and David Green says there’s more to come in 2020.

LONDON – Bellator makes its final European stop of the year Saturday with Bellator Europe 6, which goes down at The SSE Arena, Wembley and streams on MMA Junkie.

Bellator went overseas a record eight times in 2019, and, according to Bellator Europe chief David Green, that’s a sign of things to come as the future as the promotion looks to increase its hold in the MMA market.

Green said Bellator has big plans in store for 2020, but first is Bellator Europe 6, which in his mind has a number of intriguing selling points from the return of Michael Page in the main event to a matchup of middleweights with high potential in the co-feature bout Fabian Edwards and Mike Shipman.

Watch the interview above to hear Green discuss all that and more with MMA Junkie at Bellator Europe 6 media day.
