The Bell Ringer Podcast returns with another episode as Ky Carlin and Cameron Fields break down the comments made by Philadelphia 76ers coach Brett Brown on Friday. The team’s head man held a Zoom conference call with the media and it was very insightful.
The pandemic has hit everybody hard right now and there are a lot of different restrictions that everybody has to abide by, but there is no excuse to not be ready when the time comes that basketball returns. That is the message that Brown sent to his team and Ky and Cam dive into those comments as well as the lessons the team–specifically Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid–can learn from Michael Jordan during “The Last Dance”. The key is to not rush greatness from them. Simmons is 23-years old and Embiid is 25-years old. All of this takes time. We also get into potential health risks and video game systems as well as a conspiracy theory involving the Brooklyn Nets.
