Florida and LSU missed each other during the regular season and conference tournament, but the two SEC powerhouses are set to clash in the College World Series Finals starting on Saturday.
The Gators enter the series well-rested, following a two-day break. Florida went 3-0 in its pool to advance to the championship series, but LSU had to do things the hard way. Playing five games in six days means the Tigers’ pitching staff won’t be fully available, and it’s possible that UF avoids the team ace, Paul Skenes, entirely.
With that in mind, we caught up with LSU Wire’s managing editor Tyler Nettuno and writer Kyle Richardson to get the inside scoop on Florida’s final opponent of the 2023 season. Take a look below at our question-and-answer session with our fellow Wires site.
