Russell Wilson is now Vegas-favorite for MVP :: Field Gulls
The Seahawks begin and end with quarterback Russell Wilson. Way back when the team had the Legion of Boom and one of the greatest defenses in modern history to rely on. They still have Wilson, who has evolved into one of the most dangerous players in the entirety of the NFL to fall rely on. His first two weeks have been so incredibly good that he’s catapulted to the top of the MVP bettors board.

The injuries keep on coming in the 2020 NFL season and it seems as if nobody’s immune. Wide receiver Phillip Dorsett was added to the list as well, though he’s not expected to miss the remainder of the season. Seattle chose to promote defensive tackle Anthony Rush and cornerback Linden Stephens to their active roster.

It’s a tale as old as time. A safety becomes the apple of the the Dallas Cowboys fanbase’s eye, and then goes to play somewhere else. Jamal Adams is the kind of chess piece that any defense would be lucky to have, but even he isn’t perfect, running into his fair share of issues against the Patriots.
Report: Damon Harrison to visit the Seahawks next week :: Field Gulls
Speaking of players fans in Dallas would love to have, Damon “Snacks” Harrison is taking a trip to Seattle next week. He’s drawn interest from several teams, none of which are the Cowboys, so that pipe dream has dissipated. Regardless, he won’t be in the fold this coming Sunday to wreak havoc on the Cowboys running game, but could present a problem if these teams are to meet again.
Pete Carroll says he is disappointed after being fined, vows to do better as it relates to wearing a mask :: CBS Sports
Pete Carroll was one of three NFL coaches fined for their flaunting of masks in the midst of a pandemic. The move cost him $100,000 and the Seahawks team another $250,000 in fines. That’s nothing to sneeze at and shows how serious the NFL takes the optics of promoting the least everyone can do to stop the spread of Covid-19, wearing a mask.

Dak Prescott isn’t the only reigning player of the week entering this matchup. Somehow Dickson won over Greg Zuerlein’s onside kick and game-winning field goal.
