Behind Enemy Lines: Previewing LSU’s regular-season finale against Florida with Gators Wire

We caught up with @GatorsWire editor @AdamDubbin to preview the final game of the regular season against UF.

A rough season on the bayou is mercifully drawing to a close.

LSU finishes up the regular season on Saturday with a road game against the Florida Gators, which won by 11 when these two teams faced in Baton Rouge back on Jan. 10.

That was in the early stages of LSU’s 14-game losing streak, which it snapped last week against Vanderbilt. Since then, however, the Tigers have dropped back-to-back games at Ole Miss and at home against Missouri on senior night.

By virtue of losses to Ole Miss and South Carolina, LSU will be the No. 14 seed in the SEC Tournament in Nashville next week no matter what happens against the Gators. Still, first-year coach Matt McMahon’s team needs to find momentum wherever it can, and that could come against a UF team that’s had it’s own share of struggles over the last month.

To preview the game in Gainesville, we caught up with Gators Wire managing editor Adam Dubbin once again. Here’s his breakdown of this Florida team.
