Tennessee (4-2, 4-2 SEC) will take on No. 21 Auburn (4-2, 4-2 SEC) Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The contest will kick off at 7 p.m. EST with ESPN televising the matchup.

Ahead of Saturday’s game, Brian Stutz, managing editor of Auburn Wire, previewed the matchup that will pit Jeremy Pruitt and Gus Malzahn against each other for the second time in three seasons. Tennessee defeated Auburn, 30-24, at Jordan-Hare Stadium in 2018.

Below is a question and answer preview with Stultz. For more Auburn coverage, visit Auburn Wire.

What are a couple of advantages do you think Auburn might have on Tennessee?

I will start off with the running back situation. Auburn has seemingly found its back for the present and future in Tank Bigsby and he is accompanied by Shaun Shivers and D.J. Williams (if healthy). That gives the Tigers a lot of options in the backfield compared to what the Vols have. I also think the Tigers’ secondary is underrated, as a whole, and will be able to shut down the Vols’ passing game.
