Behind Enemy Lines: Gators Wire previews Tuesday night’s key SEC contest against Florida

We caught up with @AdamDubbin of @GatorsWire to preview Tuesday night’s pivotal conference showdown.

Just three days removed from a disappointing 13-point road loss against Texas A&M — LSU’s biggest of the season so far — the Tigers return home to the PMAC to host Florida.

After suffering a two-game losing streak on the road, this is a chance to get some momentum back before the SEC schedule hands LSU another gauntlet of games. However, the Gators are no slouch.

Despite Florida’s 8-7 overall record, it ranks 20 spots higher than LSU in the NET, and both teams enter this contest at 1-2 in SEC play. The Gators’ losses both came in tight fashion against Auburn and the Aggies team that just beat LSU. In its last outing, UF overcame a big deficit to take down rival Georgia and former coach Mike White.

To preview a battle between first-year coaches, transfer-heavy teams and All-SEC caliber big men, we caught up with Gators Wire site editor Adam Dubbin. Here’s what he had to say about the game, which tips off on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. CT in Baton Rouge. To read our preview of LSU’s team with Gators Wire, click here.
