Florida enters this weekend looking to bounce back from a hard-fought loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide last week, and it has a great opportunity to do it against a struggling Tennessee team. The Vols are 2-1 but dropped a home game to Pittsburgh in Week 2.
They also have a bit of a quarterback controversy, as Joe Milton III began the year as the starter but was injured in the Pitt game. Hendon Hooker entered, and he has been more productive since, starting last week, as well. But Milton is healthy and listed as the starter for Saturday’s game.
The Gators should be able to get back to their winning ways in this one, but with new coach Josh Heupel and his high-powered offensive style, this team will look a little bit different than the defense-dominated Jeremy Pruitt teams of the last couple of years.
To get the rundown of this Tennessee squad, we talked to Vols Wire managing editor Dan Harralson to get his take. You can also view Dan’s prediction for Saturday’s game here.
Here’s what he had to say.
