The Auburn Tigers and USC Trojans are set to square off on Sunday afternoon at Neville Arena in a highly-anticipated showdown.
This game is the second half of a home-and-home series that began last season in Los Angeles. In last season’s meeting, [autotag]Johni Broome[/autotag] scored 16 points and pulled eight rebounds. However, it was not enough to overcome a 28-point outing by USC’s Boogie Ellis, thus causing the Tigers to fall, 74-71.
Ellis returns to USC’s lineup this season, and he has a solid supporting cast in freshmen Isaiah Collier and Bronny James.
James, the son of NBA star LeBron James, played his first minutes of the season last Sunday in USC’s loss to Long Beach State. He logged 16 minutes of action, recording four points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
Collier, the nation’s No. 1 player from the 2023 recruiting cycle, averages 17 points and three rebounds per contest.
