Kavanagh on meeting Ilia Topuria

“I’m a big fan. I love watching his fights. I watch his highlights, and then him walking into the change room saying that he likes my style. I was like, ‘Oh, what’s going on here?’ It was awesome. He said nothing but nice things. He’s an awesome dude.”

Kavanagh on what he wants next

“That’s the plan – (to be considered an exciting fighter). At the end of the day, I love fighting. I realize that we’re in the same business as well, so if I can be entertaining while getting to the top, then I’m all for it.”
