The Chicago Bears released their first injury report ahead of Thursday night’s Week 5 game against the Washington Commanders.
The Bears conducted a walkthrough on Monday, where their statuses were projections. Left guard Teven Jenkins, who was designated to return from injured reserve, was listed as a full participant as he returns from his calf injury.
Unfortunately, there was bad news for the secondary as cornerback Jaylon Johnson (hamstring) and safety Eddie Jackson (foot) were listed as non-participants.
With receiver Chase Claypool’s status in limbo — as Matt Eberflus said he won’t be at Halas Hall this week — he was listed as “other” as a non-participant.
