Bears Week 5 injury report: Teven Jenkins a full participant in Tuesday’s walkthrough

Here’s a look at the Bears’ Week 5 injury report following Tuesday’s practice:

The Chicago Bears released their second injury report ahead of Thursday night’s Week 5 game against the Washington Commanders.

The Bears conducted another walkthrough on Tuesday, where their statuses were projections. Left guard Teven Jenkins, who was designated to return from injured reserve, was listed as a full participant for the second day as he returns from his calf injury.

Unfortunately for the secondary, cornerback Jaylon Johnson (hamstring) and safety Eddie Jackson (foot) were listed as non-participants. Jackson did tell ESPN 1000 on Monday that the plan is for him to play Thursday. But we’ll have to wait and see about his game designation on Wednesday.

With receiver Chase Claypool’s status remains in limbo — as Matt Eberflus said he won’t be at Halas Hall this week — he was listed as “other” as a non-participant for the second straight day.
