Bears Week 16 injury report: DeMarcus Walker (leg) DNP on Wednesday

Here’s a look at the Bears’ Week 16 injury report following Wednesday’s practice:

The Chicago Bears (5-9) released their first injury report ahead of Sunday’s Week 16 game against the Arizona Cardinals (3-11).

The Bears had seven players sidelined during Wednesday’s practice, including guard Teven Jenkins, wide receiver Darnell Mooney and defensive end DeMarcus Walker.

Jenkins remains in concussion protocol after suffering a concussion in Sunday’s loss to the Cleveland Browns. Meanwhile, Walker suffered a leg injury that bears monitoring heading into Christmas Eve’s showdown against Arizona.

Following Yannick Ngakoue’s season-ending ankle injury, the Bears are down to just Montez Sweat, Walker, Rasheem Green and Dominique Robinson at defensive end.

Also, running back Travis Homer (hamstring), cornerback Jaylon Jones (calf), linebacker Noah Sewell (knee) and wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown (pecotral) are sidelined.
